Udyam certificate download by PAN number: the free route
Use these four steps when the PAN number is the only detail you are sure of. Each step happens on the official portal and costs nothing.
Confirm the registration exists (optional)
If you are not sure the business was ever registered, starting a new registration and reaching the PAN validation step will show whether a Udyam registration already exists on that PAN. Do not submit a duplicate.
Find the registered mobile or email
Search SMS and email for “Udyam”. If a consultant registered you, their mobile or email may be on file — ask them.
Recover the Udyam number

Company, LLP or firm PAN?
For a company, LLP or partnership, the Udyam registration is on the entity’s PAN, while the Aadhaar used is of the authorised signatory, partner or director.
