These are the exact steps to download Udyam certificate PDF on the official Ministry of MSME portal as of 2026. Keep your phone nearby — the OTP is time-limited.
Open the official Udyam portal
Type udyamregistration.gov.in in your browser address bar. Check that the address ends in .gov.in — many look-alike websites rank in search results and charge a fee for the same free service.
Click Print / Verify → Print Udyam Certificate
The Print / Verify menu is in the top navigation bar. On mobile, open the menu icon first. Choose Print Udyam Certificate from the dropdown.
Enter your Udyam Registration Number
Type the full number exactly as issued, with hyphens — for example
UDYAM-MH-19-0001234. Do not enter an old Udyog Aadhaar (UAM) number here.Enter the registered mobile number and choose OTP
Enter the mobile number that was filled in your Udyam application. Choose whether the OTP should go to that mobile or to the registered email, then click Validate & Generate OTP.
Enter the OTP and validate
Type the one-time password you received and click Validate OTP & Print. If it expires, generate a fresh one.
Print or save the certificate as PDF
Your certificate opens on screen. Click Print for the standard certificate or Print with Annexure for the detailed version. In the print window choose Save as PDF (or Microsoft Print to PDF) to download the file, or send it to a printer.
Tip: Save the PDF with your business name and date, e.g. Udyam-Certificate-SharmaTraders-2026.pdf, and keep one copy in your email and one in Google Drive. Next time, you will not need to repeat the OTP process in a hurry.
